Thanks for taking a minute to check in with us here at ChiliFestwv.com. We are very excited to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of ChiliFest here in Huntington, West Virginia. From its humble beginnings in Ritter Park in 1983 to the present with over 20,000 people jamming the streets of downtown Huntington at Pullman Square, ChiliFest has become a community event looked forward to by so many in our area. As always, ChiliFest benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Tri-State and WSAZ-TV are proud as the presenting sponsors to have raised over $500,000.00 to benefit the House through ChiliFest. We welcome the many cooking teams who travel to Huntington from all over the East Coast of America to compete in the International Chili Society’s West Virginia State Chili Championship.
As always – Chili Regards, Ron
The winner of this "much heated" event qualifies to represent West Virginia at the ICS World's Chili Championship. Cooks come from far and wide to downtown Huntington, with their pots, spices, secret ingredients and chili lore for this spirited competition.
ChiliFest is a charity cook-off event benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities at the Tri-State. All chili sample tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
